Soldier On

The strong person is not someone who hides her loneliness, pretends to be happy in front of others and cries alone at night.

The strong person is one who stand strong despite her loneliness and strives to be happy even when she is alone.

"When I smile even when no one is looking, it means I finally did it."

Postie From My Or-Bee-Cieee

Ahhhh, I am so siiiiiiiaaaaaannnnn~~~

Today is totally moodless to work day. Better be a short and fast day!!!

On an almost cheerful note, I brought some home-made pasta to work so I don't have to eat those greasy outside food. So yaay.

But then hor, I made it last night, this morning when I peeped at it after taking it out from the fridge, it looks a bit disgusting. Muahahaha. Shall try to take a peekture of it later.

Monday Bee-Loo

Sigh, I feel so depressed everytime I look at the links on my side bar. They are so grossly outdated, I mean, THE DARK KNIGHT WAS LIKE MONTHS AGO?

But I am just so lazy~~~ Boo.

Anyway, boring weekend for me. Din't do much of anything but sleep. Seriously feel like going to Boiler Room this weekend. Sorry, I am not a chau clubber. I just like the feeling of being squashed by sticky, sweaty people who are trying to grind against each other.

I need to think of something to do this weekend. And there's a PH coming up too. Cycling at East Coast? KTV? Short weekend getaway? Anyone?

Christmas Is In The Air...

Had a small tiff with Supootman today.

Sometimes the thing about good friends is that you expect them to think the best of you, but when you realise they have certain doubts about you, you flare up.

Been talking to people a lot about my job lately, especially Supootman, who despite telling me most of the time that he has nothing to say on the subject, stays very opinionated about it. He seems to think that I am better suited for something else. Something with a more creative slant to the job maybe?

I don't know.

Nothing seems easy right now. Especially decisions.

BJN And Her B&Js See-Duo-Bei-Lei Chee-See-Kak

Bet those of you who know me well should guess that when I start a blog post with such a hideously loud striking laughter, this post is going to be a cheerful one. -Rejoice! No emo post! YEAH!-

I sure am in a cheerful mood today, and it's because of...

BEN & JERRY'S! What would any woman do without her own tubbie of B&Js? Huh? Huh? =]~~~~~~

Yummy! And it's my absolute favourite see-duo-bei-lei chee-see-kak flavour! Wahahaha. Now, don't call me crazy, okay. And I know there are probably a million thousand women out there who has blogged about their love for their favourite B&Js, but it's just natural to want to shout your love for something so wondrous out to the world... world... world... world. Any one woman out there who tells you she DOES NOT like B&Js is LYING. I am serious.

And just to show you all how absolutely adorable I am seriously I take my B&Js, and how much "effort" I put in for this entry, here I present...

THE MAKING OF... BJN And Her B&Js See-Duo-Bei-Lei Chee-See-Kak

Okay, first pictures are always the worst. Hold the cam too near, and you end up looking like someone who will kidnap children and beat kittens. Baaah!

Hmmm, the GREAT Supootman says that I have a moronic vibe to me sometimes. I am beginning to believe him. Arrgh! NEXT!

Ooooo, I can't stand it anymore~~~ I just have to show my love! Wahahaha. What? A lot of people put pictures of them kissing something on their blogs what. So what if it's out of character for me? Cannot try arh? -defensive-

Okay, the first one wasn't so good. One more time. And yes, I have a huge fridge with a ice and water dispenser. You are allowed to envy me.

Ahhhh, FORGET ABOUT KISSING THE DAMN THING LAR! DAMN COLD LOH! Back to a smiling shot then. But the damn shot turned out blur!

And this was when the FINAL picture was taken. Haha! Best always comes the last! Or maybe I was getting real bored by this point. Anyhoo, let's take a look at it again!

Me and my B&Js!

PS: Yaay, my fringe is finally on the right side, which is my left side! My new handphone does not take pictures "tom-ba-lekly" like my old phone. So cheers!

I stIll love you.

Will be continued...

Blog Blog Blog

Okay, been bombarded with "why you never blog?" questions here and there.

Please people, I am a busy publishing production assistant with a lot of data entry, corrections transferring and manuscript checking to do at work, okay? At the end of the day, when I reach home, do I still want to be staring at a monitor with a lot of words?

I only want to look at moving images less my brain forget what 3D visuals actually looks like.

Work is getting tedious. I want a holiday. Blah!

Pretty mundane talk I know. But how do you expect me to be deep and profound when I am facing medical, scientific and philosophical articles day long? It's stuffs like that reminds me what I know is just a drop in a shallow pond. When people are talking about cures for cancer, I can't possibly be ranting about my ever increasing love for Rihanna and Justin Timberlake, right?

Nap time.

PS: Now you buggers, stop complaining that I never blog! ^______^

Midweek Musings

Sometimes when I read other people's blogs. I really do feel like blogging. Not that I am such a fantastic writer, although I do think I write okay. But I just feel like sharing a piece of myself much as others have done. But I just get so lazy...

Working everyday is just so not my thing. I always end up wanting to sleep more than anything else on my days off. Although I do go out, have fun and stuffs. I have tons of photos to post up; my Pulau Ubin cycling trip, East Coast bbq, some random outings with friends, etc. Heck even my F1 photos are not posted yet.

Such is the life of a working adult, which I have been so unceremoniously plonked into without so much as a by-MY-leave. Hummph.

Oh well, at least I am settling in okay. I am still able to get up and go to work everyday, which is a good thing. It's actually not that bad. I should be thankful to find a job in such a wonderful environment. And I am getting more and more interested in learning about the production process of journal publishing. So all is good I guess.

PS: In case anyone is curious, I am working at Wiley Services Singapore, under the Wiley-Blackwell division, which is the journals production division. I will talk more about my job when I find the urge to. But in the meantime, here's a link:
