A Little Bit Of Anything

I am bored.

I am current with all episodes of How I Met Your Mother and 30 Rock. I am saving NCIS: LA for my daily commute to distract me from the urge to strangle people. I am also quite caught up with the Hollywood gossips and know that Lindsay Lohan has been sentenced to jail and Mel Gibson is allegedly crazy.

Which means that I have nothing to occupy my mind with right now.

So I blog.

Thinking about Inception quite a bit the past couple of days. Wondering if I should watch it again. It's quite a ride. Should I? Should I?

I am in such a good mood today for no particular reason. Crazy woman. But I am attributing it to finally having a proper desk space in a more open area, instead of being holed up in my previous seat. I always felt like I was a bear in a cave enclosure, waiting for people to come visit. Especially after the new girls came; 3 person sharing oxygen between two walls is not conducive for the brain. It's like three bears in a cave enclosure, waiting for people to come visit.

Hmmm... Still bored.

Fine! I shall go and Google for some half naked pictures of Taylor Lautner, apparently his torso is the star of New Moon, which I have not watched yet. Maybe a couple of nice pictures of his torso will encourage me to watch it.

There is just something about Robert Pattinson and Kristen Steward that I do not like. I think deep down, deep deep down, I don't think they are good enough for the role of Edward and Bella.

THERE! I SAID IT!

I do like Robert Pattinson, he's one of those characteristic-type actors that I put in the league of Cillian Murphy and David Wenham. The kind who are rather low-key, until they pick a good role that really slaps-you-on-the-face surprises you. But he is definitely not the drop-dead gorgeous type. And I wish people would stop labelling him as a sex symbol. It is very creepy to me.

Now this is what a sex symbol should look like:

Putting the cover of Men's Fitness magazine on my blog. Now that is something I never thought I would be doing someday. The feeling is very peculiar.

But look at that! Sexy-or-your-money-back guarantee stamped all over!

And this:

Ooo, pasty!

I know it's not fair to compare him to the best body since Spartans walked the earth *Chandler-retarded-drooling-look*. I sincerely apologise for that. But the point is, he is just not Edward enough to me, and I really liked the books. They should have gotten Alexander SkarsgÄrd. He is everything that I imagined Edward to be.

Oh well, maybe someday I will watch the movies and change my mind.

"Just Call Me Todd"

I became a little bit of a LL Cool J fan after seeing him on 30 Rock. That show has this way of bringing out the likability in actors. James Franco is another good example (KUMIKO-TAAAN!!!).

Anyway, LL Cool J.

Yeah, those biceps are fierce!

That's one tough dude. He looks like he could knock me out with his pinkie finger. Totally perfect for his role in NCIS: LA.

I am really liking NCIS: LA too, it's kind of surprising. I started watching the show out of sheer curiosity, partly because LL Cool J was so amusing on 30 Rock, and also because I haven't seen Chris O'Donnell in anything in a long time. The show is growing on me at an alarming rate. I really hope it goes on for a good few more seasons, and not fizzle out due to overly ambitious plot decisions that ends up turning the whole show into a ridiculous lump of confusion. You know what I mean?

The show is pretty generic, it's definitely no CSI, but there is just something about the characters that draws you. Especially LL Cool J and Chris O'Donnell, the chemistry they have is amazing, considering that one is a wholesome golden boy type and the other is a badass rapper type.

I think LL Cool J is one of those talent types that is able to do well in anything he tries. Just look at those biceps, I mean, a successful rap career, a constant, if not outstanding, string of acting experiences in his filmography, that's pretty impressive. I haven't exactly listened to a lot of his songs yet, but I knew I was damn happy when he was not killed by those horrible, horrible sharks in Deep Blue Sea.

And he does seem to be a genuinely nice guy who has checked his ego a long time ago, proud but not arrogant, has a great sense of humour and is a devoted family man who loves his wife and kids. Ooo, so many adjectives!

In case you are not getting any of the adjectives from the fierceness of the picture before, here's a more, erm, wholesome one.

Friendly! The brush is so lucky!

Thought Of The Day #2

Not every action has to result in a happy ending. At least you get the peace of mind that you have done what you could to lead the way there.

Inception

It's been a while since a movie had me so thoroughly immersed, that the surroundings just seemed to recede and I was barely aware of anything else but the world revolving around the characters.

It is that good.

One of those ideas that seeps into your mind, expanding the ways to perceive and evaluate the things around you, and perhaps in the long run, affect the way your thinking evolves.

Words cannot describe.

Brilliant. Simply brilliant.

Thought Of The Day #1

When a woman is frowning, either her shoes are too painful or her underwear is too tight.

Or both.

Tumbling Digweed

It's been a long while since I wrote a proper blog entry.

Sometimes it's really difficult to just sit down and immediately be able to write something that is interesting and/or meaningful, especially since I am still not used to the keyboard and have trouble finding the "Home" and "End" buttons.

Also because I am getting pretty comfortable with my life, that has gotten pretty routine, in a good way, and have lesser stuffs to complain about.

I guess anger makes for stronger urges to blog? And people seem to pay more attention when your entries are negative, whether they are just being plain busybodies or are really concerned about you.

Another factor is probably due to the so many options at self-expression nowadays. It used to be me, my msn tag and my blog for lengthier stuffs. Now there is Facebook, Twitter, and godknowswhatelsethereisoutthere! And it's so easy and quick to update those that blogging becomes an alternative's alternative.

I would like to point out that up to this point, I have spent the past half an hour writing and it's not even that interesting.

Sigh, maybe I should try to be angry and full of angst again.

July!

Goodness! It's July!

Where did half of the year go to? I really have no recollection of doing anything particularly memorable. Except.... Uhm... Nope, I've got nothing.

But oh yaay! CY is coming home! Haha! PS say that my happiness is much too extreme, almost as if my boyfriend is coming back from a long trip. Kekeke!

PLEASE! When one of your best friends goes overseas for two years plus, of course you will miss her! Especially when it's someone as cute as WCY!

THE PINKIES WILL NOW BE TEN AGAIN! That is after DX comes back from London.

Okay, I am sleepy now.

End of blog post!

WELCOME HOME AH YUN!!!
