Put A Button On The Snooze

Does anyone else also think that Dan and Serena from Gossip Girl is so reminiscent of the all-too-familiar Ross and Rachel?

The golden girl and the dork boy relationship is such an old, but seemingly effective, couple pair-up.

But somehow, it just does not seem to be worth the effort anymore after they get together for the first time. Honestly speaking, Ross and Rachel became just a tad too tedious, not to mention annoying, to watch after they had a kid together.

Now if us Gossip Girl fansies are lucky, Dan and Serena hopefully WON'T have an illegitimate child together (oh wait, their parents already did that), and continue to drag on for a couple more seasons, before suddenly deciding that they do want to sleep with each other after all.

It's just, IMHO, a freaking waste of time.

I vote to have Dan sleep with Vanessa first, then end up with Blair. Then Serena and Chuck will fall in love, making that two of her mother's lovers' sons, because that is the kind of thing which would happen to a girl like Serena. And in so, all the women and the men who have slept together before, would have slept with each other at least once.

Now that is what I call good television.
